We are the Digging Dudes (Jeff, Will, Eric and Aaron), a team of laidback, professional metal detectorists who are passionate about history. Our motto is “Bringing the past back to the future, one treasure at a time”. Treasure for us could be anything with a little story to tell. Whether it’s a spoon, horse shoe, pocket watch, ring or coin, it may not have much monetary value, but it has a story.

It’s our privilege to help document and tell those stories because if we didn’t, they would be lost to time forever. We also offer a recovery service for lost metal items and have recently joined the “Ring Finders” family.  We know how stressful losing things can be and we are always willing to help someone in need.

We always follow a solid code of ethics when it comes to detecting. We never hunt designated archeological sites, but instead focus on private permissions from people just like YOU who simply want to know what kind of history is hidden on their land or working farm field.

We seriously LOVE this hobby. Over the years, we have met some amazing land owners who are just as excited about what we find. We have permissions to many properties up and down the Ottawa Valley and Pontiac Quebec area and always looking to add to our list of adventure sites.
